Melbieann's Babydoll sheep Melbieann's is a nine acre farm in Hudson NC. I raise Old English Southdown sheep. I raised Araucana chickens until 2014.

Babydoll sheep can be used to trim grass especially around fence lines. They are very friendly and easy to care for. They must be protected from predators especially coyote and stray dogs so I keep Great pyrenees dogs with mine. Babydoll sheep are beautiful to watch and bring delight to the community. ls for fully rumpless and double ear tufts. There is a lethal gene that causes a fully formed chick to die in the shell if it gets two copies of the gene. If you have a tufted Araucana it will cary one copy of the tufted gene, therefore you can get cleanfaced chicks from them. Araucanas are my favorite breed of chickens because of their sweet personalities and their cute chatter. I am still working on improving my colors and hope to see improvement each year.
