Good morning everyone!
I hope you are all doing well as we're beginning our Labor Day holiday weekend.
We have pretty much everything you will need for all of your fruit trays fruit desserts, vegetable/trays and dishes to wow everybody at your holiday picnic, grilling, beach parties, pool parties and more.
Some highlights for this weekend
Raspberries are big, firm and sweet
Last of the big sweet blueberries 🫐
Peaches🍑 are winding down. This is the last weekend we are guaranteed to have them. We may have them sporadically throughout the next week or two.
This is the last weekend for cantaloupe 🍈. We will have some at the beginning part of next week, but that will be it for our homegrown cantaloupes.
The watermelon 🍉 are incredibly sweet and juicy and perfect for a picnic.
Tomatoes 🍅 are plentiful this weekend so if you need to make sauce can or freeze them. We have lots of Romas and regular canners available. With all of this weather(cool, hot, rain) that we have gotten, tomatoes season is typically not going to last as long as it normally would.
The sweet corn 🌽 is impeccably sweet this week and super tender!
We have so many varieties of homegrown apples 🍎 right now. Our newest variety is called Pink Luster. A sweet, very crunchy apple. It is definitely one to try this year.
We are open Monday through Saturday 9:00 to 6:00 p.m., you can shop with us at the corner of 48th and Bauer at 4810 Bauer road. We might be open for some limited hours on Monday Labor Day, but right now it's looking like we made me close. So shop today for all of your holiday needs.
