It's baby season on the farm! A few weeks ago Legacy Danes received nine puppies from Little Miss and yesterday we received two beautiful pygmy goat babies!

One of the babies is barely half the size of the other but both of them are doing well!

Mama sits guard at the entrance of the hollowed out tree stump fort while the babies get some sleep.

Yesterday was 75, barely 6 hours ago it was 65. Now it's 31 with a wind chill of 9° before the wind gusts. Half of this is rain. :( The wind has knocked a couple of long branches down on the fence so that has to be dealt with before the horses get out. In two more days it's going to be 70 again. It might be spelled "Missouri" but it's pronounced "Mizery". I guess the one positive is that the tornado warning area is east of us...

Looks like we're going to have to call the fire department to help get our goats out of the tree! 😂
