The In a Pickle Festival is coming to Rosenberg — and this time, we’re leveling it up in a way Texas has never seen before.
Introducing the FIRST-EVER
PICKLES VS ANIME FESTIVAL
Get ready, Texas — the largest pickle festival in Texas is hitting the road and bringing all the briny, bold, and beautifully bizarre fun to Rosenberg for the first time ever. This special edition is an Anime & Pickle Foodie Fest, where crunchy meets kawaii and fandom collides with flavor.
Here’s what to expect:
150+ unique vendors
15+ pickle canners offering classic favorites and wild, creative flavors
Anime-inspired foods and treats
Pickle-eating and pickle-drinking contests
Live music and entertainment
Pet parades, exclusive merch, and totally dill-icious food
A fun, family-friendly, cosplay-welcomed atmosphere

Time Line:
12:00 PM: Pickled Pet Parade
1:20 PM: Home Canning Pickle Contest (Entries due by 12:20 PM)
1:40 PM: Kids Pickle Eating Contest (Ages 8-16)
2:00 PM: Kids Pickle Juice Drinking Contest
2:30 PM: Adults Pickle Eating Contest (Ages 17+)
3:00 PM: Adults Pickle Juice Drinking Contest
3:30 PM: Cosplay Contest
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to top contestants!
Pickle Contest Details:
Pickle Contest Participants: Arrive 10 minutes before your event in front of the stage near the contest table.
Home Canners: Submit 1 pint of unlabeled pickles with your contact info in a sealed envelope at the information desk. Judging criteria include appearance, texture, and flavor.
