This is Gator 🐊 he’s an Angus x British White cross soon to be a steer.
He’s 3 months old next week

Would love to see him as a show steer. What do you guys think about him?

Our Black copper marans gender pretty quickly! Out of 11 in this batch…… 7 were roosters 🤣 that left us with 4 little pullets.

I have 2 more left if anyone really wants to add more pullets to their flock, otherwise we are bringing them to gilmanor. 😁

As you can see, this is why we charge what we do. Raising chicks is not easy or cheap.

🐥 They go through a lot of high quality feed with 20% protein
🐥 bedding cleaning is a lot of work, time, and $$ to ensure chicks are healthy and not standing and breathing in 💩 🤢 all day.
🐥 We are NPIP and AI tested flock. This is a big expense on us.
🐥 We also have fans for our chickens/chicks to keep them more comfortable and have nice air flow.
🐥 adults get dewormed and preventatives for lice/mites
