When Linda and I originally decided to open DRW our goal and hope was to enjoy 10 years in the wine industry and then move on to the next phase of our lives. With your incredible support our dream became the successful venture we envisioned and we have so enjoyed making memories with our Desert Rose family, and sharing some laughs and perhaps some good wine along the way. We are both excited and s

ad to announce that we will be closing DRW - Excited because we are looking forward to traveling (and possibly relaxing a little bit!) and sad to say goodbye to each and every one of you that have made Desert Rose so special. Linda and I will cherish the friendships and memories always. We greatly appreciate the support of all of our winery family over the past 10 years and wish happy trails to all.

Many of you know that our wonderful Allison has found an onward home in the wine industry working for Magnolia Vineyards in Amissville. It has quickly become one of our favorite post-retirement wineries not only featuring Allison but also a down home family atmosphere that we so enjoyed trying to provide. You may also remember the incredible wine dinners that we were able to have over the years at The Marriott Ranch. We are very pleased to learn that Magnolia will carry on this tradition with their own wine dinner scheduled for March 12, 2022. Owners Glenn and Tina, along with Allison, invite you to join them for a great evening. For those of you that attended ours, you will remember them to be a fantastic food and wine experience coupled with much fun and laughter throughout the evening. As always though, they sell out quickly including the limited overnight accommodations. For those interested in attending, you should make reservations soon by contacting Marriott at 540/364-2627 or Magnolia at 703/785-8190 - we know it will be a memorable evening.
