Hello Hunt Friends & Neighbors, please be alert and check your local news and radio for the latest weather information.

Thank you Hunt Preservation Society for posting this alert.

‼️ FLOOD WATCH: SEPTEMBER 29–OCTOBER 2 ‼️

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for portions of South Central Texas, including Kerr County, as a changing weather pattern brings an increased potential for heavy rainfall Wednesday through Friday.

2–4 inches of rain are possible, with isolated amounts up to 8 inches.

With that much rainfall, flooding could occur along creeks, streams, rivers, low-water crossings, and other flood-prone areas.

Some locations could experience rapid rises and significant flooding. Please take a few minutes now to prepare:
• Stay weather-aware and monitor local updates
• Know your safest route to higher ground
• Avoid low-water crossings during and after heavy rain
• Never drive through flooded roadways
• Check on neighbors who may need additional assistance

Conditions can change quickly in the Hill Country. Please stay alert, stay informed, and look out for one another.

❤️ LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE.

It’s more than a slogan. It’s a choice we can make every day to support the community we call home.

Ranch Radio Marketing Group is proud to join the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce and businesses throughout the Guadalupe River Valley in the Love Where You Live campaign.

From Hunt and Ingram to Kerrville, Center Point and Comfort, our communities are filled with locally owned restaurants, shops, service providers, attractions and businesses that employ our neighbors, support our organizations, sponsor our kids, give back when our community needs them and help make this area what it is.

After the challenges our community has faced, supporting local matters.

So take the extra minute to look local first. Try the restaurant you’ve been meaning to visit. Walk into a shop you’ve driven past a hundred times. Recommend a local business you love. Rediscover something right here in your own backyard.

Every choice may seem small, but together they make a difference.

Shop here. Eat here. Explore here. Support here.

❤️ LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE.
