Hi friends!
I wanted to share our menu and let everyone know that we’re only doing two small batches of chickens this year. We’ll be harvesting at the end of July and again at the end of August, so if you’d like to make sure you get the cuts you want, please reach out to place a pre-order.
If this year is anything like last year, the thighs and breasts will go quickly—we could barely keep them in stock! We already have quite a few requests for those cuts from our first harvest, so don’t wait too long to reach out. If we’re unable to fit your order into the July harvest, we’ll gladly get you on the list for August.
As a gentle reminder, we will not be attending farmers markets this year unless we decide to do an occasional pop-up event. We also only process whole birds by request. We haven’t been keeping whole birds in the freezer, and honestly, it’s been glorious having all that extra freezer space for activities. 😆
I’m also still working on getting our EBT program set up. We have a training to attend and a card reader to purchase, but I’m hoping to have everything up and running soon.
