Well folks, that’s a wrap on summer farm camps for 2026! Today I finally made a point to get MY picture taken with the tortoises 😂 Unsheltered NC once again brought the excitement of the day with Franklyn (our kids tried to rename her to Big Bertha đŸ€Ș) her bestie of 20 years Rojo and Kevin Bacon 😁 It has been an amazing summer on the farm. The animals are not going to be happy that summer camp is over, they thrive on all the love and treats from the kids. To all my campers and parents, thanks for an amazing summer ❀

The cooler weather today was so nice! We started the day with some barn chores and visiting the animals, then we picked some apples to eat with our lunch. Final touches were put on our picture craft which turned out so cute and we played a few group games which resulted in lots of laughs! The kids are very excited for water day tomorrow and Friday!

It was another fun day on the farm! We took a hayride to visit the “big cows” and feed them some treats. All the other animals got lots of love too. We did ice blocks, picked some figs for everyone to try and played some games down at the batting cage. An intense game of Bingo and lunch inside was a great way for us to cool down in the A/C. We wrapped up the day with some popsicles under the barn.
