It has no doubt been an amazing sale season for our winter set. Thank you to OUR customers! We have an amazing team and are looking forward to the upcoming show season. With that being said, we still have some options for those that need pigs for the summer county fairs. I would like to wrap up the sale season this weekend and get the barns empty this weekend. I’m at a loss for words. When I started this showpig thing I had the highest hopes. I thought the banners and wins would come if I just worked hard at it. While that is a huge part of it, it seemed to only go so far. We have worked, learned, prayed, lost money some years, made enough to pay the bills some years, been frustrated, and also had some incredible years doing this. We also still have a long way to go.

Years ago, Kayla’s grandparents showed me pictures of a breed champion sheep and the banner from Houston that they had won, and conveyed that it could be done. That became a goal that I wanted to achieve and something that I have prayed for. Well, we got a banner hung at one of the biggest and I’m so thankful and proud of everyone involved!

Great sale day today! Thank you to all of you that placed bids, purchased pigs and supported us today. We have an incredible customer base. The pigs all sold to great families and we are excited to get to work for you.
