Family and friends, after much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming Race for Taste event scheduled for September 6, 2025.

We know this is disappointing news, and we truly appreciate all the excitement, love, and support you’ve shown as we prepared for this special day. Please know this isn’t the end—just a pause. We are already looking forward to coming back even stronger next year with more fun, flavor, and memories to share with you!

Following the disheartening termination of a beloved citizen in our town The ChesOli’s Family stands with Jesse Joseph, a pilar in our small community for local news. What’s important here is that Mr. Joseph goes above & beyond to interact with the citizens of Carroll County, TN. When we receive news of any sort our hope is that the person is equally as passionate about the industry of journalism as well as the actual story that is being covered.

Jesse Joseph - The News gave us our first feature in a newspaper and made us feel important, seen, but most of all valued. It’s remarkable to see the lengths he took to get a story…not just for us…but effective communication with all residents, leaders, and businesses in the area.

If you keep up with the happenings around town then you’ve spotted Jesse, and he is always on the scene. His attention to detail is impeccable! Let’s make sure the ones that serve us everyday know how much they are valued in our communities!

We’re thrilled to announce ChesOli’s Race for Taste BLOCK PARTY—a family-friendly, action-packed event happening on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the parking lot of the Civic Center in Huntingdon, TN. This all-day celebration will run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, capped off with a spectacular fireworks show to end the night!

This event will feature:
• A competition for the Best Food Truck in West TN
• Xtreme Mayhem Midget Wrestling entertainment
• A LIVE performance by the Kimberlie Helton Band
• Fun for kids and families
• Delicious food, local vendors, games, and so much more!
