Sale Day at the County Fair is one of the hardest days of the year and it seems to come so fast. I watched some amazing kiddos this year put in lots of time (too many hours to count) with their market goats and it was all done in what seemed like the blink of an eye. The tears were heavy in the sale ring, the barn and while watching the trailers pull away with the animals they cared for and loved so much. And yes, we shed some tears too. We watched these goats take their first breath of air in the world and watched them leave with the kiddos who showed them and again, on the trailers as they left the fairgrounds. Our hearts go out to these kids as they move on with the empty halters and their empty pens at home until it's time for their next project.

Congratulations to our market goat exhibitors at the Huntingdon County Fair this week. What an amazing group of kids who did an outstanding job raising their market goats.

Marley - 2nd with Wally, 4th with Morgan 🏆

Quinn - 3rd with Maggie 🏆

Dallas - 2nd with Tumbleweed, 5th with Cactus 🏆

Harper - 3rd with Lucy Lou, 5th with Jeffrey 🏆

Jaxson - 5th with Opal 🏆

Paityn - 3rd with Mickey 🏆

LJ - 4th with Raymond 🏆

All of them placed very well in Showmanship with Dallas taking a first place in her first year with market goats. Way to go Dallas!

We are extremely proud of all of them. They put in hours upon hours feeding, watering, cleaning pens and lots of miles walking their goats building muscle. Their hard work and dedication was paid through the ribbons and placings they were awarded. What a great bunch of kiddos and parents to work with! Hope to see you next year!
