It's always a good day when you harvest enough frames to fill the big extractor! Today we harvested 27 frames, which made about 8 gallons of honey. Seems to be clover, knapweed, buckwheat, and jewelweed (the evidence of jewelweed was pollen on the backs of the bees!) It's dark and a little tart, you can definitely tell that it's getting late in the season. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was recently here for our annual inspection, the inspector is always impressed with how clean and organized we keep our processing area. Anyway, see you at the Huntingdon Farmers' Market this Thursday!🐝🐝🐝

Temporarily sold out! Our harvest last weekend produced about 50 half pint jars and we sold out by Wednesday! We are hoping to get out to the hives between rain showers this weekend so that we can try and have some fresh honey available for you!

The late frosts this year and dry weather has really slowed down honey production. We never resell honey from other beekeepers just to keep honey in stock and make profits, so please be patient with us!

FINALLY! Our raw & unfiltered mountain wildflower honey has been harvested and is ready for you to enjoy! Our self-serve kiosk is fully stocked and we should start seeing you at your favorite local farmers markets! Sorry for the delay, it has been a tough year for honey!
