In Portugal soup is king, no wonder I gravitated to the country! For the next few weeks I will be offering various vegan Portuguese soups. Next week’s offerings will be “caldo verde” (green soup )which is a creamy blend of potatoes and kale and other veggies. Amy will pair this with Portuguese rolls! Delicious! Please place your orders by Monday for Thursday September 30th delivery.

Scenes from our vegan cooking class! Amy and I had a great time teaching 10 lovely non-vegans how to prepare healthy and delicious dishes . Thank you Michelle and David for allowing us to hold the class in their beautiful kitchen, to Sasha for keeping the flow smooth and for taking these photos, to the fabulous inter-generational group of participants and to Beth for awarding us the grant through my environmental fellowship. The time is right for a great summer collaboration with yoga, live music, food, and fun! Yoga Flow Full Moon Glow, an outdoor live music event is happening on Thursday, June 24 at 7pm in Northport, NY. This is the last full moon of spring 2021 and we're celebrating with yoga, live music and jam by Transmorpheous, delicious food (for purchase)* by Edina Jayne's Kitchen and Illegal Baker, all in a lush backyard space with a pool, courtesy of our host, Rich Rivkin.
Bring your mat, a bathing suit and towel, a healthy appetite, water, or BYOB.
We'll gather in Northport at 7pm to dissolve all your daily constrictions, tension, pressure and stress with an easeful evening yoga flow. The night will unfold into an exploration of spontaneous, natural, creative movement and meditation as we morph into a free form, organic dance jam. Afterwards as the music plays on, enjoy yummy vegan Mediterranean fare and dessert (available through advance purchase tickets)*, a dip in the pool, and more dancing.
