Good morning. Unfortunately, we will not be participating in the Veterans Day event at the park due to the rain chances.

Tried something new today. We used the red habaneros for our peach habanero jam. I don’t know much about peppers so I’m gonna need a taste tester. Be sure and find us at the park in Huntington on Saturday NOVEMBER 9th

I may have waited too late but I'm going to ask...does anyone know where I can get some pears? Pear preserves are my all time favorite! I haven't made them in years and I really would like to make them again.

Our Story

JELLY TREE MAYHAW FARM Join our journey of farming and jelly making. We are Wynn and Pam Havard of Huntington. Wynn is retired from the post office and I am a newly retired Registered Nurse. In November 2014 we planted 100 mayhaw trees with plans to plant 200 more this year. Until the trees begin to produce, mayhaws and muscadines for our jelly are picked wild. Our son has a blueberry farm right down the road so all of our blueberries are picked fresh from the bush. We are a cottage industry and all of our products are homemade one batch at a time. WATCH US GROW!!!

January 25, 2-19 It’s hard to believe it has been 5 years since we planted our first 100 mayhaw trees and the next year another 50! They are looking great and hoping for a good crop this year. Stay tuned--could have mayhaws for sale. We are so blessed to have been able to add a canning kitchen completely separate from our home 2 years ago. It has been wonderful to have a place to make all of our jelly and jam in a commercial setting. Thanks to everyone that has helped us make all of this possible!
