I had a first in a life time Bee Call today. When I arrived at the yard, the beehive was full of honey, pollen, bees, and space for the queen to lay. The bees were all well mannered. So where did the Queen go and where was the brood?
She had gotten into the area between the bottom boards screen and bottom. All of the brood and nurse bees were here.
Not to worry. We separated the screen from the bottom board and released the queen to the hive so she could really stretch her legs. Very fun, hot, emergency bee call. I really enjoy the calls I see something new on and get to solve a problemor even a mystery 🕵‍♀️:D
