Fall 2018 FB Doe

We purchased Independence from the Gormans when she was almost a two year old. She has had 7 babies for us pretty much unassisted (a few are pictured). I’m retaining a yearling doe as a replacement. She has been shown a lot, with us and back in West Virginia. Good mama, good udder, very gentle. I’d like to make sure she gets into a good home, she’s been so good to us. I think she’s got a few good years left of having babies, she greatly enjoys her job!

Currently exposed to our buck FCFB Captain Black Cherry (2022 NAILE 3-6mo class winner, 2024 WI State Fair Champion Senior Buck). We are willing to keep her longer to confirm pregnancy for an extra fee.

Ruby has had I think 13 babies for us pretty much unassisted (a few are pictured in the comments). I’m retaining a doe kid as a replacement. She’s produced point earning does, rate of gain and division champion wethers, and just in general strong, hardy, productive goats. Good mama, good udder, her pasterns are soft—that’s about my only fault on her. She’s not quite as heavy as this show picture but she hasn’t changed much. I’d like to make sure she gets into a good home, she’s been so good to us. I think she’s got a few good years left of having babies, she greatly enjoys her job!

Take a look at these cool guys! They’re a very diverse bunch. No matter what you may be looking for to improve your herd, they have you covered! Born throughout March 2024. Very friendly, strong yet good to handle. All bites, scrotums, and teats are correct. There are a couple with folded ears and one whose pigment is still a bit light. Available with or without papers. While taking her pictures, we were excited at the thought of being about to offer such a high quality doe. I’m not doing a lot of showing these days, so my loss is your gain!
