🍅 FORESTER FOODIE: BITE-SIZED EDITION FEATURING THE Huntington University GARDEN🍅

Think you know tomatoes? Think again!

🍅 Tomatoes are technically a fruit!
🌱 They’re part of the nightshade family, along with potatoes, peppers, and eggplants.
❤️ Tomatoes are packed with lycopene, an antioxidant that gives them their signature red color.
🌈 Tomatoes come in tons of colors—including red, yellow, orange, green, and purple!
💧 They’re made up of about 95% water, making them a refreshing addition to meals.

🍆 FORESTER FOODIE: BITE-SIZED EDITION! 🍆

Let’s talk EGGPLANTS! 💜 Featuring our very own Huntington University garden!!

✨ Eggplants are technically a fruit, not a vegetable!
✨ They’re part of the same family as tomatoes & potatoes.
✨ Eggplants come in more than purple—look for white, green, striped, and even tiny varieties!
✨ The name “eggplant” comes from an old variety that was white and egg-shaped. 🥚
✨ Eggplant is naturally low in calories and packed with fiber!

💜 Fun fact: Eggplant is sometimes called aubergine—fancy, right?
