That’s a wrap for the 2026 Anne Arundel County Fair Inc. ! It was an amazing experience, I am grateful for the opportunity to participate for the second year in a row. I am looking forward to many more years to come.
I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came out to support us. The women and teens who work with me learn not only about animals, but also about what it takes to run an operation like mine. I truly enjoy the educational and gained experience aspects of agriculture that can only be done by actually doing it. To some, we might just be a petting farm, but to me, it is about creating that spark of inspiration for the future farmers of America.
As an added bonus, a former postpartum doula client visited me with the baby I had the privilege of caring for during their early days. It’s always special when my two careers overlap.
Lastly I want to give a quick shout-out to FAFO Farms for an incredible first year showing their beautiful Highland cows. Having horned cattle at a fair is groundbreaking! I am very proud to have them as part of my farm family!
