🌞 Anyone else shocked it’s already June?! 🌞

Summer is officially here, and we’re excited for another month at Marlow Farms!!!

🌾 Our cereal rye cover crop has officially been rolled down!

We’re using it as a natural mulch and w**d barrier for this year’s pumpkin patch. By leaving the rye on the soil, it helps suppress w**ds, conserve moisture, and build healthier soil.
We’ll miss watching it sway in the wind, but it’s on to its next job now. 🎃

A big thank you to TJ Ireland for generously lending us his cultipacker and helping make this possible!

Huge thank you to our neighbor and farm sitter Selena from Canaan Farms, Inc. for taking care of our farm and animals over the past 10 days while we were away. ❤️

We had an unforgettable trip visiting Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, and North Dakota — hiking through 3 National Park and visiting 2 national monuments along the way! The biggest highlight was watching our girls compete with their Plum Point team at the Destination Imagination Global Finals.

These kids worked so hard all year long, and we could not be prouder of them for absolutely crushing their goal — earning a Top 10 finish in the world with an incredible 4th place finish in the Elementary Science category! 🌎✨

What an amazing adventure filled with family memories, teamwork, learning, and gratitude.

Now it’s time to get back to the farm! 🌱🐓
