It's summertime in the garden at Little Long Mountain Lodge! We're harvesting tomatoes and cuckes daily and anxiously awaiting all the beans, peppers, and corn! 🍅🥒 🌶🌽 We chase daylight almost daily as we tend to our chores...whether it's the garden, mowing, bees, orchard, or whatever else pops ups!

So grateful (and sometimes overwhelmed) by our garden goodies!

Today we welcomed "Daisy" #3 to the Little Long Mountain Lodge bovine family! She was born to Chick-fil-A ( #239) who looks like the CFA mascot. Daisy 🌼 was given her name by one of Tara's UBMS students. 💕

And...Welcome to the herd Prime ( #4)! This is Ribeye's brother from a separate auction lot, so X with a different bull. We have a full Black Angus! 🐮

Ribeye, the babysitter, was close by the whole time. She's something funny! Three down...four to go!

We have TWO CALVES! #247 and #121 each had a calf this early evening.

One boy, one girl. Seem like healthy little calves so far. They were hiding (for privacy) in our woods so we had to search for them as we thought the cows had gotten out. 5 more calves to go...busy weekend! 💕🐮
