Moved the baby chicks to the hen hous. 24 total half of them are Rhode Island reds and the other half are Brown Isa.

Both breeds are great egg producers often used in commercial production. We'll start seeing butt nuggets maybe February or March I can't wait.

What are people getting for their pasture raised chicken eggs around these parts geauga county?

My chickens are fed non-GMO their pasture raised I'm thinking about $5 a dozen just looking for input from my friends

Not sure where the egg prices are in the store right now but you can't compare these eggs to those crappy white ones that are cheap or used to be cheap at the grocery store I won't even eat those anymore I won't order eggs in a restaurant even after having my own chickens no comparison in the flavor

Maybe I'm wrong but do the research look at the evidence put on your thinking cap and use your common sense get rid of the sugar there are no such things as essential carbohydrate and the whole fiber thing is a crock of s**t you don't need fiber it's not essential you need beef you need organ meat you need water and you need good pure salt minerals electrolytes and that's it

No I'm not going to say vegetables are bad for you but they are trying to kill you look at the ancestral methods of preparing things like beans and wheat you don't just eat them you soak them you pressure cook down you prepare them properly look at how corn was prepared 150 years ago you don't just eat corn on the cob there's a way to prepare it look at the history of corn and the Great depression and how people starve to death eating huge amounts of corn I'm not kidding this stuff is real and I care about you

I want all my friends to be healthy you can fix your depression you're bipolar disorder your autoimmune disease your irritable bowel your heartburn with a carnivore diet the evidence is clear do the research my friends don't take my word for it fix your gut health fix your overall health

I'd like to remind these idiots in Washington DC Donald Trump had the border under control with the current laws. Joe Biden took over with a secure border and on day one immediately reversed everything Trump was doing. Probably the worst thing was when they stopped DNA testing of family units to make sure these children were actually the children of the people who say were the parents. Your tax dollars are funding child trafficking there's no doubt about it it's a fact.

Call Congress and tell them shut down the border invasion will shut down the government balance the damn budget fix this invasion stop it now

You know I first learned this truth watching Yellowstone. And it never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of some of these people. I'm sorry but this is the truth here and this applies to commercial industrial large scale farming there is another way but it means everyone has to get involved in gardening regenerative operations can supply local communities as well so that not every single person has to have a garden but think about meat production. If you do your meet in a regenerative farming manner you can supply large scale beef chicken and pork and still be great environmental stewards.

You graze the cows then you allow the chickens to come in behind and once the chickens have distributed the cow fertilizer then you bring in the pigs to till the land. Now shortly you will have beautiful Rich pastures to bring the cows back through and so on and so on. Now granted in cold climate with winter you will have to grow hay to feed through the winter but that's kind of why back in the day they had the cattle drives think about it.
