We are a locally owned family run business that specializes in hand popped popcorn in a variety of flavors. A husband-and-wife team who met at college in the late nineties and became Space Camp counselors shortly after meeting. low vendor, who are now dear friends, at a festival. After a couple of years of research, saving and lots of prayers we took a huge leap of faith and launched Rocket City Popperz on February 28, 2020. The very next month we were hit with the COVID pandemic, and everything shut down leaving us like so many others with uncertainty. We adapted and started a delivery service bringing our comfort snack to doorsteps across Madison, Morgan and Limestone counties. This concept and the overwhelming support of our community helped get us to where we are today. RCPz popcorn flavors consist of our own unique recipes with a flavor selection that is often inspired by customer requests. Our popcorn kernels are hand stirred in 160-quart stainless steel kettle using a hand carved maple wooden paddle, where it is carefully stirred over hot oil until the kernels start to pop bringing not only a sense of nostalgia but also a fragrant aroma of fresh popped popcorn with each batch. We offer delivery every Friday to residences and businesses (unless otherwise posted). Delivery is offered to the following locations: Meridianville, Hazel Green, Huntsville, Madison, Athens and Decatur with a $20 minimum order and $5 delivery fee.
