A week ago today Veterinarian Dr Moriah Lorge came to our farm and provided an emergency c-section on our beloved goat Honey.

We are proud to announce the birth of Baby Moriah, a 5 lb Mini Nubian doeling who is joining our herd. She was a full week early but survived and has gained two pounds this week!

Look how huge Thalia is, I wouldn't be surprised if she had three. Her udder still hasn't started developing so I finally took the time to count how many days of gestation she had last May, her first freshening.
It was 151 days which surprised me as all our other Mini Nubians and Nigerian Dwarfs have been in the 145 day range.
That would push her due date to June 1st.
Stay tuned for some F7 Mini Nubian kids!!!
