St. Paddy's Wagon | Irish-American Food Truck

Love cooking but don't love dealing with customers? Perfect. We're looking for a dependable prep cook to help keep our food truck stocked, organized, and ready for service.

This is a part-time position, typically less than 10 hours per week to start. As our business continues to grow, there will be opportunities for additional hours for the right person.

You'll work directly with ownership in a small, fast-paced environment where your work has an immediate impact on the quality and speed of service.

🔪 What You'll Be Doing:
-Prepping ingredients to meet daily and weekly pars
-Washing and organizing prep dishes and equipment
-Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
-Following safe food handling and sanitation procedures
-Assisting with miscellaneous kitchen tasks as needed
-Helping ensure we're ready to crush service every time we open

💰 Pay + Perks:
-$15/hour
-Free shift meal
-Flexible scheduling
-Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows
-Small team, low drama, good food

📌 Requirements:
-Show up when you're scheduled (seriously, this one's important)
-Willingness to learn and take direction
-Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
-Prior kitchen experience preferred
(We are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude and strong work ethic)

I know I'm a clown, but take a knee. I wanna be so real for a second. I'm so effin grateful I get to do this every single day. I'm so grateful for this incredible, supportive food truck community. I'm grateful for the small business owners who let us crash at their pads. And most of all, more than anything else, I'm grateful for each and every single one of you. You make all this possible. 🚚 NOW HIRING – Food Truck Crew (Part-Time) 🚚
St. Paddy’s Wagon | Irish-American Food Truck

We’re looking for a reliable, fast-moving, people-friendly human to run the front of our food truck so we can keep slinging food out the back.

This is a very part-time gig (think 6–10 hours a week), mostly weekday lunch shifts with the occasional breakfast or dinner pop-up.

💥 What you’ll actually do:

- Take orders + handle payments (cash & card)
- Build and serve food fast (no dawdling, we get slammed)
- Be the face of the truck (aka be cool to customers even when it’s chaos)
- Light food prep when needed
- Keep the truck clean and functional during service
- Help with setup/breakdown
- Occasionally drive the truck (manual/stick shift)

💰 Pay + Perks:

- $10/hr + tips
- Tips usually average ~$40 per lunch shift
- Free shift meal (you will not go hungry)
- Flexible schedule (we work around each other as much as possible)

📌 Requirements (don’t ignore these):

- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Must pass a background check for military base access OR already have clearance
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment
- Can handle people + pressure without melting down

⭐ Bonus points if you:

- Have food service experience (not required, just helpful)
- Can drive stick shift
- Actually like working with the public (rare, but appreciated)
