Hello everyone! Since it’s been snowy and cold, I thought I’d do a little update to what’s happening around the farm since summer!

- We got licensed for Bobwhite Quail and introduced snowflake bobwhites.
-We hatched over 40 Orpington chicks! We kept several pullets back!
- Traditional Bobwhites were a new addition this fall, so we’ll be looking forward to the new year with hatching some babies and selling them to bird dog hunters!
- Cochins/ Frizzles were fun to watch grow and raise! We sold several to locals!
-The pheasants grew up to be two males and one female!
- We hand hatched 44 guinea keets and then bought several! Believe our count was over 55!
- We added a new filly to the herd!
- Tilly came home from training! We are in absolute love with her.
- We got some coutrix quail… hatched 3 and then bought several more! We love our quail!
- Our two other fillies will head to training soon!
- We added donkeys to help with Rocking H sheep farm
- To top it all off, we have a bachelor pen with some new boys hoping to add bloodlines to the Cochins!

I’m sure I missed something but still it’s been a busy summer! If you happened to see the farm you knew it was mass chaos at times! I spent a lot of my free time on the back of a horse or inside hatching chicks! 🐣
