Immediate opening for a part or full-time Agricultural Equipment Operator.
This role is for you if:
• The ideal candidate would be HONEST, energetic, able to work independently, and highly motivated.
• You have prior experience working on a commercial farm operating farm equipment.
• Previously worked as a commercial applicator for a retailer or a heavy equipment operator for a construction company.
• Have basic mechanical knowledge and ability to understand machine function and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• You have the ability to work with various GPS Technologies
Daily Task:
• Operate farm machinery: perform tillage operations, run a roller, operate grain cart, pick rocks, unload semis during harvest.
• Opportunities to operate planting and harvesting equipment exist with demonstrated abilities.
• Operate self-propelled sprayer during the summer months and keep accurate spray records.
• Drive semi-truck to transport commodities.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance. Previous experience with an acetylene torch and or welder is helpful. Working in shop during off season.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Have a valid Commercial Drivers License or ability to obtain one in first 6 months.
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Use Pesticide License.
