The roots are looking absolutely beautiful at here at the farm ! 🥕❤️
We’re harvesting some of the freshest carrots and beets you’ve ever seen, and they’ll be headed to the Washington Farmers Market tomorrow morning.
Root vegetables are some of nature’s most nutrient-dense foods. Carrots are packed with beta-carotene, which supports healthy vision and immune function, while beets are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that help support heart health and overall wellness.
One of the biggest benefits of buying fresh, local roots is flavor. Freshly harvested carrots are sweeter, crisper, and more nutritious than those that have spent weeks traveling and sitting on store shelves. The same goes for beets—their earthy sweetness shines when they’re harvested at peak freshness.
Stop by the market tomorrow and stock up on these beautiful roots while they’re at their best. Nothing beats food that was in the ground just hours before it reaches your table! We will also have garlic, garlic scapes, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, broccoli, salad, greens, some organic fruit, and so much more.
