She had to have a second attempt when she is the first one before picking it up and when she slid it over the concrete line it cracked 😅

Sixteen Week Welcome Pupdate 📷

This little girl is being called Montana (the biggest nod to our trip to Utah to get her with our stop in Montana where we got to know her more before heading home). She’s had her first three sets of puppy shots, gotten her rabies shot/tag, travels well (she didn’t have any accidents in her crate the whole trip) and got to meet Kinsley and try out the pond today!

She is the pup we are tentatively planning on keeping 💛

This little girl is being called Indi (short for Indigo for some of the sky colors we saw when we went to Utah to get her with a stop in Montana before heading home). She’s had her first three sets of puppy shots, gotten her rabies shot/tag, travels well (she didn’t have any accidents in her crate the whole trip) and got to meet Kinsley and try out the pond today!

She has found a family 🏡.

This little boy is being called Geo (short for Geode since we went to Utah to get him with a stop in Montana before heading home and saw some geodes). He’s had his first three sets of puppy shots, gotten his rabies shot/tag, travels well (he didn’t have any accidents in his crate the whole trip) and got to meet Kinsley and try out the pond today!

He has found a family and his name is now Frankie 🤎🏡.

Since we’ve introduced Roxy it’s time to introduce this trio. These three (male, female, female) are Sage’s puppies!!!

If you’re new here or just don’t remember, Sage (she was and earned her SHR, DS and FITS and is now Thousand Lakes Woodland Sage) was with us up until February when she moved to a new home in Utah where she had a litter of puppies with Eddy (Mulberry Creek’s Cousin Eddy who has earned his GRCHRCHx6, MH, HOF, and 1 MN Plate). Needless to say I felt making the drive to Utah was worth taking between Roxy and this trio and I’m excited to get them home and figure out what comes next for each of them.

Continuing the trend of seeing if your dog can fetch an egg without cracking it we have Lily tying Fey in last place🥉

Lily has not had any formal fetch or retriever training since she was an “adult” when she joined our family. She usually does what is asked of her through natural instinct although I do still plan to eventually work with her or send her to a trainer and try to run a few Hunt Tests with her.
