This is going to be a long post but it is incredibly important and necessary.

Yesterday I had a woman call me and ask to place an order for D8. I had to, unfortunately tell her, that I was unable to provide her with that product anymore due to its recent "illegality" in Kansas. She immediately started crying and panicking asking where she can get some.

She spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with me explaining how our D8 products were the only thing that have touched her chronic pain in over 10 years. For the last month, she was able to use D8 in place of her opioids and find relief not only from her pain, but also found a renewed sense of joy as she was able to have a clear head when going about day to day activities and continue doing things she hasn't been able to for almost decades. DECADES.

I want everyone to take a moment and think about that, REALLY think about it. Imagine all of the things you love to do everyday. Wake up and stand up out of bed, stand in the shower alone, get in and out of a car, drive, cook, tend to household chores, go out to eat, garden, the list can go on. Now imagine being in so much pain, that you can't do ANY of those things for 10+ years of your life. Imagine doctor visit after doctor visit and mounds of opioids that cause long term GI issues on top of all of that. Now, not only do you have long term chronic pain & GI issues, but severely deteriorating mental health.

Now imagine finding a local company that sells a product that can take away your pain, bring your appetite back, get you off of long term opioid use and restore some semblance of a normal GI tract, while allowing you to smile and find true joy again. What a relief that must be! It's the light at the end of a long tunnel and you can finally see the quality of your life improving until *BAM*!! That tunnel door is shut and closed tight by bureaucrats and legislators in Topeka who are dead set on keeping those products illegal due to un-education, willful ignorance, and lifelong propaganda that tells them the plant those products come from is "the devil".

This is what happened with our customer. We have HUNDREDS of these stories. And as the president of the Kansas Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, I have spoken to business owners all across this state who ALSO have 100's of these stories. Not only are Kansas patients and customers struggling, businesses are struggling.

At this point I am angry. I am angry that the state of Kansas continues to allow people to suffer by not freeing this plant and its byproducts. I'm angry that even though we handed the legislature a solution to fixing this problem (with the work on HB2706 & HB2708) and providing minimum regulations to ensure that public health is at the forefront of this industry, government agencies have stood in the way of any solid progression for the health of its citizens. I'm angry that our DA has chosen to try and prosecute businesses for selling products that HELP PEOPLE AND IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE. As angry as I am, I'm utterly heartbroken. I'm sorry I can no longer sell these products. I'm sorry that a lifeline for countless customers has been pulled off of shelves across this state. But I PROMISE you this, I will NOT stop fighting for our customers and patients all across this state to have access to products that improve their quality of life.

With all of that being said, We are hopeful and confident that our newest product, the d9 gummies, which are FEDERALLY and STATE COMPLIANT, are able to provide our customers with the same relief they were able to get from our d8 products. Where there is a will, there is a way!!! If there is ANYTHING we have learned in this industry is that regulations and laws can change at the drop of a hat, but we are MASTERS at pivoting. WE WILL continue finding ways to provide helpful products NO MATTER WHAT!!! I'm hopeful that our hard work in Topeka will eventually get us somewhere, but for many patients, progress will come too late!
