Conservation of our wild spaces is so important to us. It's the reason our b**rs and our taprooms use bird imagery so prevalently. The Kansas Land Trust is an invaluable organization doing phenomenal work to preserve and protect wild places in Kansas and we're thrilled to contribute to their efforts!

Sandhills Brewing was founded in 2018 by twin brothers Jonathan and Pippin Williamson and co-founder and friend Joe Cizek, with a goal of creating community gathering spaces and b**rs that are inherently representative of the places they come from and call home. With family-friendly neighborhood taprooms in Hutchinson and Mission, Sandhills strives to bring locally sourced ingredients and partnerships into its breweries for customers to enjoy and benefit from.
For co-founder Pippin Williamson, supporting land conservation is also deeply personal:
“I was raised in the Kansas Sandhills and was blessed to be surrounded by thousands of acres of native tallgrass prairie during my childhood. Realizing how vitally important, yet also so incredibly vulnerable the prairie is led down a path of trying to contribute to its conservation in all that I do, even if at times it’s only in small ways. The prairie is the heart of Kansas and we’ll forever mourn it if we don’t work to save it.”
We’re grateful to Pippin, Jonathan, Joe, and the entire Sandhills Brewing team for helping KLT protect the Kansas landscapes that connect us to place and to one another.
