Cheeseburger sliders 🍔
Very good! 👌🏼

Time: Approx 1 hr 15 min

* 2 pounds Bx Cattle ground beef, thawed
* 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tsp onion powder, split
* 2 tsp garlic powder, split
* 1 tsp salt, split
* 1 tsp pepper, split
* 1 pack slider rolls (12 rolls)
* 2 tbsp butter
* 4 pieces sliced cheese

Copycat Big Mac sauce-
* 1/2 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
* 2 tbsp chopped dill pickles (or relish)
* 1 tbsp pickle juice (or white vinegar)
* 2 tbsp ketchup
* 2 tsp mustard
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp paprika
* 1/2 tsp onion powder
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* Salt and pepper

Heat oven to 400°. Using a 9x13 pan, line it with parchment paper and press ground beef into the bottom of the pan. Make sure it is evenly flattened into the pan in order to make one large hamburger patty.
Top ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let set about 5 minutes, drain any excess grease.
Heat oven to broil. Flip entire patty over in pan, top with other half of seasonings and broil beef for 15 minutes.

While beef is cooking, prepare sliders by cutting rolls in half and laying bottom half in a 9x13 pan or cooking sheet.
Once beef is done, layer bottom half of slider rolls with sliced cheese, then beef patty and top with pickles and onions (or whatever toppings you prefer). Place top half of rolls onto sliders.
Melt butter, combine with garlic powder and salt. Brush over top of sliders. Then with a tented piece of foil over the sliders, bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Let set five minutes, top sliders inside upper part of roll with Big Mac sauce and serve hot. Enjoy!

Hello, we wanted to make you aware of a price adjustment to our beef for the coming year of sales in 2026. We will still be selling delicious home raised beef - but now it will be $4.75/pound plus processing.

This change is being made after much thought and prayer due to the increased current market cost of purchasing beef calves along with increased costs in other areas. The national average cost of ground beef for the last quarter (April-August) was $6.32/pound. (Glynn Tonsor, K-State Ag Economist, (https://www.drovers.com/news/industry/what-does-talk-10-ground-beef-mean-producers) With this and other considerations, we have found and made our price adjustment as fair and competitive as possible.

We wanted to make you, our customers, aware of this change as soon as possible, as we know the impact it may have.

We look forward to furthering the relationships we have made and are humbled by the opportunity to serve your family with the same quality beef we have for the past several years. Please let me know if you have any questions, thank you!

It’s time for a new recipe post! It’s been a moment since I sat down and wrote up an original recipe from yours truly. This one was a hurry up and make dinner with whatever is in the house kinda night, and it’s a keeper! 😍 You know we always have some home raised ground beef, so taking a pound and coming up with this dinner was so fun and delicious. Let me know if you make it:

Spaghetti Orzo 🍝
Very good! (Dairy free!)

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 can beef consommé
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup orzo pasta, dry
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper

In a large skillet on medium heat, brown ground beef. Once cooked and grease is reduce or drained, add onions and peppers and cook until tender, approx 3-4 minutes. Add 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can beef consommé, plus use one of the cans to add a can’s worth of water. Also add Worcestershire and orzo pasta. Mix well and then add in spices. Lower heat and cover to cook about 5 minutes, stir often so orzo doesn’t stick to pan. Remove lid and finish cooking about another 5 minutes until orzo is tender. Serve hot as is, or add Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!

Note: if you’d like a creamy sauce, add in half a cup of heavy cream while adding the liquids.
