My Mother wanted me to post this.

Her push mower that was located at the front of our market (she uses to mow in between my husband and I mowing) under the awning was taken in the last two weeks . Unfortunately I’m aware nothing can be done. But maybe someone will do the right thing 🤷‍♀️

If you did take it, please bring it back. My little ole Mom got that one because it was easy for her to pull start. Maybe you really did need it to mow your yard, that’s great just drop it back by and leave a note if you need to barrow it . But more than likely it was sold for grocery money because groceries are expensive.

Whatever the case is, my Mom is one of the most trusting people and her words exactly were “I can hardly believe someone would want a push mower because that’s a lot of work.” Coming from a 78 yr old that works her rear off.

I don’t know what kind it is or have a photo of it & she can’t remember either. 😉 Thanks for letting me post the least amount of information of a stolen mower ever. (Making a promise to my Mom)

Early Jonathan variety we grow are currently being picked , early apples won’t have a lot of size to them because of lack of moisture. Lodi were lost do to the extreme temperatures . We are not selling large quantities at this time.

Mom was asked how she keeps her prices down and her response to a customer was this. “We dry land farm, we don’t have any irrigation , or high tunnel expenses. Our stuff isn’t pretty because she doesn’t spray it with anything“

Mom has been busy with picking 🍅 tomatoes.

🥓 🥬 🍅 BLTs are a summer must !!!

What sets our tomatoes from everyone else….

- sandhill field grown no irrigation
- no pesticides or chemicals whatsoever
- they may not look pretty but who cares about looks !!! It’s the taste that beats the rest!!!!!

Local peach season will be non existent due to a freeze that took out crops. We are just now seeing the results. Colorado looks to be good this season those wont be available till the end of July. Small growers in the area may have a few trees that survived the cold snap but we did not.

First thing first- the big ole 🍁 maple tree that has stood in front of our market for years , even before the folks bought it in 1977 has succumbed to the harsh weather we have endured over the past month. Thank you to the county for removing it . So we are trying to get used to the new look 😳
