New commission finished!!

This portrait was requested by the wonderfully lovely Phil Moores.

I don’t know what the cat is called, but I’ve named them Leg Ryan.

Leg Ryan likes shortsighted herring, candles that smell like a lackadaisical security guard, and attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest handshake completed during foreplay.

I’ve obviously drawn this one in my ultra-realistic style, so usual reminder that my portrait is the image on the right.

And 10 minutes outside on a good horse shows you even more so that the world is wonderful to be in!

The internet will have you believing everything is falling apart. Step outside and look around. The sun still rises. Birds still sing. Trees still grow. Life is still happening.

Don’t let a screen convince you the world has nothing good left in it.

Be deaf to negative voices. When you have a goal, not everyone will believe in you. Keep moving, keep believing, and let your results speak. Sometimes the best way to succeed is to stop listening to those who keep telling you that you cannot.

I have a confession.

I’m in a codependent relationship. I can’t seem to get out of it, and can’t seem to quit needing what it is that the relationship taunts me with. I’d leave, but I’m afraid I can’t do better.

The relationship is with my career, and apparently it missed me when I was gone, because it really tried to keep me busy paying attention to it—but don’t worry—I’ll find balance, and push for time for me and seriously!! I’ll write up my adventures out West very soon!!!!
