We are a small, family run roadside produce stand that operates on the honor system.
Rick and Amanda first met at college in northern Minnesota. Their common roots were soon discovered as Amanda grew up in Hutchinson, originally from nearby Dassel. Rick’s grandfather grew up on a farm in Dassel just a couple miles down the road from Amanda’s family. They eventually married and recently welcomed their fourth child into the family.
They left the busy suburbs, returning to Hutchinson, and built a home on 3 acres where they live with their children, dog Jack, two rabbits and 6 chickens.
They currently maintain approximately a third acre of vegetable gardens, a hillside of wildflowers and 22 young fruit trees.
