Unapologetically Bold – that’s our approach to 2021!

We recently reflected on our experience last year, and we’re approaching 2021 with undaunting conviction. As a small business owned by two Black women from Trinidad and Tobago, we started Camella’s Kitchen to share our culture with our local neighbors. Man what a year 2020 has been! We’d be lying if we didn’t’ say that this year was tough. In a year that felt like many decades rolled into one, we’ve gone through so much as a collective. But we found ways of powering through. As two Black women in the food space, running our small family business was not easy, but we did it 💪🏾 We took a moment to reflect on the happenings of this past year - you can read more about our entrepreneurship journey on our blog.

This is a delicious warm muffin that is perfect for colder weather AND it makes for a wonderful Thanksgiving treat 😋 Our Spicy Apple Chutney gives it just the right amount of heat 🔥 We drizzled a fresh apple topping on top to make this muffin extra special! Something simple that we like to make are corn muffins. We’ve put a spin on these traditional treats by incorporating our favorite fall fruit: apples. These muffins have tasty autumn notes as the flavor of the apples really do come through.
