Well, this is a first.
I went up around 8pm to lock the chickens in. Opened the nest box and felt around in the dark for eggs. Everyone was calm and all seemed normal.
Went outside a few minutes ago and could hear all the chickens freaking out.
Yelled for Paul and he went up to the coop to find this little bastard!
It attacked 2 chickens, it didn’t kill them but they are a little beat up.
We have never, ever had one of these little
a$$holes around. Just another predator to add to the list.

My boy is home!!! He showed up this morning while I was doing chores. We had a nice long talk about being gone from home for so long.
I think he missed his momma.

Centerville Rd and surrounding Hyde Park friends. Please be on the lookout for my boy Panther. He has been known to wander for a couple of days at a time, but we are going on day three of no sign of him. He’s super sweet and will come up to you if you call his name.
He’s all black, and most of the times his fangs are showing, he’s a large neutered male but not overweight.
Please let me know if you have seen him, even if it’s not a good outcome (😢).
