Our beloved Tater Tot needs our help and support. A couple weeks ago we discovered what appears to be some cancer in her only remaining eye. This obviously poses a bigger concern for Tater than it might for other horses because she only has the one eye.
Tater joined the H&H family in 2018 and since then has taught literally hundreds of riders how to use their body to support a horse, taken riders from their very first steps on a horse all the way through first canters, first jumps, and more. She has done so much for the farm and now it’s time for us to give back to her.
The surgery and follow up treatment are estimated to be around $3000. Tater will get the surgery and treatment no matter what but if you are willing and able to donate to her care we would be eternally grateful. We strive to give all of our lesson horses the best care but it definitely adds up.
