Taco went on his first big boy outing yesterday. He came over to Horse and Hive and got ridden in the ring for a short period before going out to work in the field and do a short trail ride. He thought the creek crossing was a hair suspicious but he was very brave and went through!

It’s Sundae’s world, we are all just living in it. Every day she gets to decide whether it’s an inside day or an outside day, and whether she would like to go to her “private field” in the grass ring, or go out with her herd. She always takes her time making the decision and keeps us on the edge of our seats until the very last moment!

Even Sundae, the oldest horse on the farm, was feeling her oats and defying gravity this morning! We can all only hope to have her energy and gumption when we are her age!!

Look out, world, Taco is on his way!!! Little man is growing up so well. He had his first ride in the stall yesterday and then rode outside for a few minutes and walked and trotted today with no issues. He’s just the smartest little baby horse ❤️
