🌧️🤠 WELL, Y’ALL… TEXAS HAS ENTERED ITS “HOLD MY BEER” ERA. 🍺😂

Between the heavy rain, flooding, and power loss, Mother Nature has officially decided the w**ery needs a rain check.

So, French Connection Wines is CLOSED TODAY. 🍷

Our highly professional, scientifically backed recommendation:
Stay home. Stay dry. Pour a glass of w**e.

Because if you’re going to be stuck inside, you might as well be stuck inside with good w**e. 😏🍷

We’ll keep an eye on the weather, the water, and whatever else Texas decides to throw at us and reassess the situation tomorrow.

Middle of Veraison on the High Plains. Benjamin Calais checked on our 2 workhorse varieties for French Connection Wines: Rowland Taylor Vineyards Picpoul blanc and Farmhouse Vineyards Counoise. The year has been challenging, winter freeze, spring frost and hailstorms have taken their tolls on high plains vineyards but those 2 varieties are showing very high quality potential. Probably looking at a slightly early season, just a week or so early. Thank you to the vineyard teams for all the hard work to turn world class fruit on a complicated season.
