We preserved a bunch of things today; verde tomatillo salsa, Jalapeños, and tomato sauce. I also made vanilla extract. When I asked daughter 1 if she wanted to help she said, nobody but you cans anymore. I don’t blame her. I didn’t want to can things at 13 either. I still made her understand how it works. For later, just in case someone else does want to preserve things.

Our Story

We are a small farm in Boulder county run by a husband and wife. We use organic farming methods growing our medicinal herbs like lavender, calendula, arnica, nettles and more. We also sell teas, soap, salves, tinctures, seeds and plant starts.

Our herbs are dried and preserved with great care. They are carefully chosen to be used in our recipes for their beneficial medicinal properties.

We use rotational planting and organic seeds. We work to use cover crops and low till methods of planting. We compost heavily and work to maintain a balanced biological environment.

Also, the co-founders of www.farmbrite.com. A farm management software that helps small farms be more productive and organized.
