Sap is pounding in! This 4900 tap woods has been holding steady at 800 gph all night!

What an awesome 3 days. Earlier today went crossed the halfway mark of a full crop, with 2,400 gallons of syrup made. Sap has ran the hardest we have ever seen. Our 4900 tap woods at one point ran over 900 gallons an hour! We haven't done the math, but well over 35,000 gallons of sap collected off of 9,600 taps. Over 850 gallons of beautiful syrup made!

Last night's boiling sample bottles. We made 470 gallons! Started out at 59 and ended the night at 82.

We had a great sap run the last 24 hours, probably over 3 gallon per tap. Tonight we are making the lightest syrup we've made this season.
