Book Launch !!!!
As of today until April 30th at 4 pm MST you can order a copy of the book from me directly. The company i used to help publish set the price way to high. I wouldn't even purchase it at their price. I am offering it at a discount. It is available in both paper back and hard copy. After the 30th I will place the order. They will be shipped to me signed and reshipped out to you. The paper copy will be $15 and the hard copy will be $20. This does include the shipping cost. If you are not in America and want to purchase the book look up the price comparison with our currency to yours. The first 100 copies sold will get a free Snicker toy. Included in this book is the recipe on how to make a new friend.

I pretended to be British this week and made a lemon lavender loaf, Chelsea buns. A Victoria sponge cake and crème brûlée. All for my book club to go with our book crime brûlée bake off by Rebecca Connolly

I love British baking shows and never knew what a Chelsea bun was until I looked it up and though I can do that uts basically a cinnamon roll. So here is my first ever Chelsea bun

Caramel apple fritter

For awhile now I have lost all desire to bake and closed my shop. I forgot how much I enjoy it. Anyway tonight I wanted to make Swedish hand pies but I couldn't do it justice as I am allergic to cinnamon, nutmeg basically all the spices that are yummy. So I made the dough and the filling with my own spice combo. This was delicious. I used the recipe from the baker which was a sour cream pie crust. It was so flaky and delicious. Then because our last missionary is coming soon and we have morning church so I've been making breakfast foods for the freezer for his welcome home meet and greet. Playing in dough I made strawberry cream cheese rolls and cinnamon rolls. The cream cheese dough started to rip so I cut off the edges. I twisted this left over dough together then rolled it out a little bit. I added choc chips, butterscotch chips and caramel chips to the dough then rolled it back up. I had left over chocolate Russian butter cream from a birthday cake which I melted and drizzled on top of the roll. Hubby said it tasted like a Boston cream pie but was a sweet roll. Unintentional new bake.
