Go see Michael Demski at Demski's Orchard on Erie road this weekend! He has beautiful apples and pears! And he'll have some of my honey too!

He's at the Bedford Farmer's market on Saturday until 1pm and will have his apple cart out later in the day & Sunday 🍎🍐

First time using Russian queens in my apiary. Have a spicy hive that needed requeening so I split them in half & gave each a new mom. The third went into a nuc with brood and some left over field bees from another nuc. 🐝

Our little mama hen! She hatched one so we bought her a few barred rocks to raise. 🐤🐣

Sunflowers and dahlias! The dahlias are really starting to come in nicely! I can't get over the white and peach varieties. I also have yellow, red, red&white, a red/orange variety and more! Sunflowers here are procut lemon and procut peach 🌻💐

I'm finally getting around to building my mobile farm stand. I will post about it when it's full and ready for flower & honey lovers!

Today is National Honeybee Day! I did check a few hives today, pulled off some honey frames, and prepared three other colonies to harvest from 🐝
