RECIPE: Cool, crisp, and festive. This Peppermint Pine Martini takes the sophistication of a classic gin martini and adds a refreshing winter twist with a hint of forest pine and cooling peppermint.

Peppermint Pine Martini
1.5oz Red Fern Forest5oz Rumplemintz or Peppermint Schnapps5oz Dry Vermouth

Add ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and stain into a glass. Garnish with a candy cane.

We've paired it with Amaro Santa Croce - a fantastic spirit imported by a local Idaho family. It's a true taste of the Gem State with an Italian twist

Black Walnut Negroni
1oz Red Fern Forest Gin
1oz Amaro Santa Croce
1oz Campari
4 Dashes Black Walnut Bitters

Holly & Hearth Punch
1 Bottle Red Fern Gin
3oz Campari
3oz Orange Oleo Saccarum*
17oz Pomegranate Juice
17oz Club Soda

*To make orange oleo saccarum, peel an orange avoiding the white pith. In a small tupperware, combine the peel with a half cup of sugar. Allow the sugar to macerate in the peels over several hours, preferably overnight. Shake every now and then to disperse the oils.

Maple Leaf Sour
2oz Red Fern Forest Gin
1oz Cranberry Juice75oz Maple Syrup5oz Lemon Juice

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain. Garnish with a lemon, cranberries and/or fresh herbs.
