We were thrilled to welcome students and teachers from Connell, Kiona-Benton, Richland, and Tri-Cities Prep High Schools to the B&B Potato Shed for a firsthand look at Columbia Basin potato harvest!

With more than 70 students and teachers joining us, the tour provided an inside look at the journey from farm-to-fork, harvesting potatoes in the field to watching trucks unload and seeing how potatoes are handled and prepared for consumers.

We’re proud to support hands-on learning opportunities that connect students with agriculture and the people behind the food on their tables. 🌱🥔

And of course we couldn’t send everyone home empty-handed! Our guests took home 5-pound bags of Green Giant Fresh potatoes to share with their families, a tasty reminder of what they learned during the day.

Thank you to all the students, teachers, and schools who joined us, and to everyone who helped make this farm-to-fork experience such a success!
