Eagle Eye Produce Grower & Shipper of Premium Produce: Potatoes • Onions • Melons • Mixed Dry Vegetables

Established in 1996, Eagle Eye Produce came from humble beginnings in Roberts, Idaho, a little farming community in Eastern Idaho where Newman set up his first office in the laundry room of his home. In early 2002, Eagle Eye Produce began investing in the soil and purchased a Warehouse in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Taking control of their own supply and designing a potato packing plant in line with Newman’s Vision that would become one of the most technologically advanced potato warehouses in the United States. As the company continued to grow at an accelerated rate, Newman and his partners paralleled this strategy by building, producing, and growing year-round onion, melon, and value-add potato programs as well as establishing Nogales vegetable programs to further increase what Eagle Eye Produce would be able to offer their customers. Eagle Eye Produce now grows and ships in several different states, multiple countries, and is a multinational company remembering that none of this would be possible without an amazing team of partners and employees.

8 MILLION POUNDS of potatoes are in this one cellar!

After being harvested, potatoes are brought into cellars like this one, where they can stay fresh for months. Temperature, humidity, light, and airflow are carefully controlled to help keep the potatoes in great condition.

And keeping them in the dark is especially important. It helps prevent them from turning green and developing a bitter taste!

Our Eastern Idaho potato harvest crews are starting as early as midnight to take advantage of cooler temperatures. We were lucky enough to catch some of the action as the sun came up!

We have some exciting news! 🥔

Since winter 2025, we’ve been hard at work building a brand new red and yellow potato packing facility within our Idaho Falls operation, and it’s officially finished!

The new facility brings more automation, advanced technology, and a completely rebuilt packing process that allows us to pack more potatoes while delivering consistent quality for our customers.

Our red and yellow potato programs continue to grow, and we’re excited to have this new facility up and running to support what’s ahead!
