The ducks have officially expanded their campaign.
First it was eggs. Now it's bread.
Current inventory: 🥚 Plenty of duck eggs seeking loving homes. 🍞 2 Everything Bagel Focaccia remaining. 🍞 1 Garlic Parmesan Focaccia remaining.
The Department of Duck Affairs reminds you that a proper breakfast requires both eggs and bread. Preferably purchased from ducks.

We got back from a weekend of camping with family and got right to work making fresh bread for the farm stand this week.

Tomorrow morning's focaccia lineup:
🧀 Cheddar Jalapeño
🧄 Garlic Parmesan
🥯 Everything Bagel
These will be $6/loaf. They are 500 gram loaves.

If you'd like us to reserve a loaf for you, send us a message and we'll set one aside before it hits the stand.

Now that we have this platform, we'd like to announce our new public education campaign: QUACK-AGANDA
One duck pointed out that it sounds a lot like "propaganda." That duck has been reassigned to pond-cleaning duty. Any resemblance to propaganda is purely coincidental.

Egg sales were a little slow at the farm stand this week, so we had a small staff meeting with the ducks.
They had ideas. We are nervous.
In the meantime, we wanted to answer a question people may have: why are duck eggs usually dirtier than chicken eggs?

Chicken egg on the right. Duck egg on the left.
Chickens are usually polite enough to use the nesting boxes.
Ducks are more of a “drop it wherever inspiration strikes” kind of bird.
The ducks are now working on a marketing campaign. We have not approved it.

We are open today and the ducks would like to remind everyone that Father’s Day is ONE WEEK AWAY.
We’ve got Father’s Day shave kits ready at the stand! Perfect for dads, grandpas, husbands, and any man who has ever said, “I’m easy to shop for,” while being absolutely impossible to shop for.
The ducks approve. Mostly because there are no razors involved for them.

We have some leftover focaccia from the week so we are going to do Thrifty Thursday! Small loaves are $3/ea and the large Pesto focaccia loaf is $5. Come stock up, I love popping a loaf in the freezer for later. I'll be making more sandwich and Cinnamon bread later today, that will be available tomorrow morning! What are some of your favorite baked goods you've picked up at the farmstand so far? Anything you'd like to see?

We are ready for the week, and we may have a loaf problem.
Honestly, the ducks tried to stage an intervention, but it was too late. The dough had already risen to power.
