The Orchard - Texas Much more is awaiting the visitor from our unique gift shop to our bakery. The 29 year old orchard is comprised of 30 varieties of apples.

West Texas breezes carry the fresh smell of 6,000 apple trees to visitors at Apple Country, where apples are picked from the trees and available for purchase from our Country Store. Not only do the apples beat store prices, but tree-ripened apples simply taste better. Our West Texas climate allows apple growers a longer growing season and a more flavorful apple. Apple country is owned and operated

by the Crawford family. We welcome tourists, friends and family to stop by year 'round and enjoy the orchard:

One of the most pleasurable aspects of Apple Country is the people who visit us here. Visitors come from the West Texas area, from other states, and from overseas. Extended families come to see us. Christmas Trees are here!!! We are open today so come to see us! We are located at West Loop 289 and Marsha Sharp next to At Home. All our trees are Frazier Firs and look great!

To all of our loyal customers! After many discussions with our partners and due to changes in food safety and newly replanted trees we have decided to postpone our annual Apple Butter Festival this year. Its heartbreaking not to host the festival since it has been such a great benefit to our favorite nonprofit organization. We are working on new ways to comply with regulation and continue with festivals going forward. We still have our store open and stocked with items we've always offered.

We will be harvesting our first peaches of the year tomorrow. We won't have any at the store, but we will have fresh picked peaches at the Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market! Come see us!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving week! We hope that you spend time celebrating with loved ones this holiday season.

The Orchard will be closed this week, for the Thanksgiving holiday, starting today, Tuesday, November 20. We will resume regular business hours next Tuesday, November 27 (10 a.m. - 5 p.m).

The Orchard will close for the Christmas holiday on December 21 at 5 p.m.

Trees range 2’-10’, stands are available for purchase, flocking and also check with us about delivery!

You can pick up German Apple Cakes, Apple Pies, Apple Cookies, Dried Apples, Honey, Honey Crisp Apples and Pantry Items at the tree lot!
