They say every business has a “why,” but mine has a name: Sammy. 🧩🍪✨
I started Sammy’s Cookies because of my incredible son, Sammy. He has autism, and if you know him, you know two things are absolutely true: he has an unstoppable love for cookies, and his favorite place in the world is the kitchen. He will happily sit and watch me or his grandmother Nena bake for hours he is our ultimate helper and official taste tester!
Seeing how much happiness baking brings to him inspired me to share that exact same joy with our community.
Because life is a beautiful, hectic balancing act, Sammy’s Cookies is a labor of love that we run on the side. Some weeks get incredibly busy for our family, which means our kitchen hours and availability might shift from week to week. But no matter how busy things get, every single cookie we share with you is fueled by that core family love.

🚨 Important Policy Update at Nena’s Cakes and Sweet Treats 🚨
First, I want to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our amazing, loyal customers who support this small business. Your love for our treats is what keeps us baking!
As a small business owner, I always try to lead with trust, kindness, and flexibility. Unfortunately, we recently had an experience where that kindness was taken advantage of, and a completed order was picked up without final payment being made. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this over the past week, the customer has gone completely silent.
As a small, family-run business, we simply cannot afford to absorb the cost of time, ingredients, and labor when this happens. Because of this, we are strictly enforcing a new payment policy effective immediately:
Non-Refundable Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
Paid in Full Before Pickup: No orders will be released or picked up until the balance is paid fully and completely.
We hate that we have to make this adjustment, but it is necessary to protect our business and ensure we can keep serving up sweet treats for years to come. Thank you so much for your understanding, your respect for our time, and your continued support! 🎂❤️
