A-Plus Builds We build custom homes for dogs, cats, goats & more, keeping furry & feathered family members happy!

We are a family owned business and started a few years back when we decided to venture into the chicken world. We wanted to make sure that the new girls we got were happy because if they are happy then we are happy, while enjoying their eggs. Throughout the years our girls have ventured from a pen, to the Mansion and now happily live in the Chateau. We have learned what makes them happy and us hap

py in taking care of them. The products you will find on our site will make raising your animals a pleasure rather than a chore. We want to make sure that other animals are as happy as our girls and so we now customize in making homes for all types along with creating customized necessities for their homes.

I’d love some honest feedback from this group.
Recently I reached out to a local food truck with the idea to promote their business while also doing a little advertising for my own. I told them, the next time they ran their special, I would offer to cover the cost of up to 5 meals for customers who came in and mentioned The Easy Chicken or A-Plus Builds. In return, I would promote their special on my pages to help send them some extra traffic.
My thinking was that instead of wasting money on traditional ads, I could use that money to support another local small business while also getting my business names out there.
They never got back to me, which is totally fine, but it made me curious.
My question for you all:
Do you think this is a good idea that I should offer to another small business, or does it come across as strange or unnecessary? If so drop a name of a small food related business you like.
I’m genuinely just looking for honest feedback before I try something like this again.
